The BDMA (British Damage Management Association) is the certifying authority for recovery and restoration technicians, enabling damage management practitioners to gain professional qualifications and accreditation by examination. The Association promotes minimum standards and the use of competent professionals at all times. Both the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) have seats on the BDMA Executive in an advisory capacity and the BDMA is represented on a number of high profile committees and research projects.
